Thoughts on Today's Verse.... Sometimes, the natural consequence of rebellion is its own justice. God gives us up to what we want and pursue, letting us reap the consequences (Romans 1:24). Human rebellion against God ultimately produces evil fruit. Wickedness is often its own worst punishment. In the face of such the generous God we focused upon yesterday, how could we choose to follow any other path but his? It may seem harder to faithfully follow God and his wisdom in the short run, but there is simply no option that compares honoring God in the long run!
