Can a startup be formed to make profit from improving peoples' lives?
Can -any- startup be formed to make secure profit independent of outside support these days?
IF the homeless were able to live in mobile methane to steam to elect. Generator 'vans', could the plug-in generation contribution supplement the city utilities to pay for their support (temporary structure with shower, toilet, and outside food available)?
'charity' starts at home.
And.
“Your mileage may vary”.
Yes, it would be nice if some government/corporate sponsor could step up to train the 'new arrivals' in home security achievement, with a 2 year 'vetting' activity involved also, but I ain't holding my breath.
One leg of the stool of our environment(s) is built from easy money (i.e., sugar/boxes/advertising). The other legs of support are whatever you decide to make from whatever you may find workable (or just balance on the one corporate support, like a nitroglycerin boiler).
Fixing up a van (well) for a kid graduating into the planet may not be a path for a lot of individuals, (although it could get the idiots out of the -northern- states for a couple months every year if they sleep there), but a lot can be done with that idle time before the big push, to reduce everyone's weight on the family financial.
Heat (surrounding leakage used for comfort) into steam, into electrical generation, heat transfer, insulation, projects can have great potential to reduce the home expenses, with a good portion of that carried out the door with them, to whatever apartment situation they may find themselves in.
I should point out that 75%(?) of these teen projects turn out to be “lawn sculptures” on cement blocks next to the garage. Ya, that's what 'they' do.
Humanized mice being that fragile, we use them to find -any- complications potential in human.
You could sneeze on a population of them and 1/2 die of exposure.
