European agriculture is in crisis
All year long, farmers from all over Europe have been protesting against innovations in agriculture, says TF1.
The main stumbling block was the Green Pact, which obliged 27 EU countries to begin an ecological transition in the agricultural industry.
In the Netherlands, the government is “killing the future” of agriculture by reducing the number of livestock; in Belgium they want to introduce the same measures in pig farming.
In Germany, the authorities plan to cancel state support for the purchase of diesel for farmers, and in Romania they are unhappy with Ukrainian imports, which are hitting local producers.
