Repost from another Stanley user. This well-used thermos bottle has a long and dull history. It was purchased by my mother during the middle 1960s. She used it to take her morning coffee to her job as a cleaner at a local college until she retired. I inherited the thermos after she passed. My significant other then started using it to take his morning coffee to his job as a carpenter until he retired. During that 20 years, he took the thermos to many, many job sites. The chipped paint and dents were acquired along the way. The plastic handle broke and the carpenter replaced it with a wooden handle. The stopper under the cup was replaced twice. The manufacturer of this product still sells replacement parts because the basic design hasn't changed in 60 years or more. We don't use this often, now that we are both retired. If we needed the thermos, it would still keep our morning coffee hot for hours. F, 69 355/365, size 10 US, enduring dull January weather in the upper Midwest.
