Other peoples' perspective;
I continue to find leaks in my heat pump cold air discharge (that I use for AC in the summer). If I build another on of these cargo container/tiny homes I will put the heat pump on the outside, with the water storage/heater inside.
With the correct location of components (particularly in a short term(?) cargo living space), can make a lot of difference in the complications of monthly costs, and maintenance. I should be able to expect another '29%' improvement with a proper research into just the proper heat movement (s).
One pic shows the current heat (cold air) blockage, (not suggesting you place trach around any heat sources) traveling under the stove to boost the refrigerator efficiency with said cold air source. The other pic shows my heat cost compared to last year. The outside air temp It was warmer this year, but I wanted to show how show document the change in their/your activity. The bill announces a 29% savings, but my calculation presents 65% of the energy use from last year. See how they do that? That base number that they use is arranged in such a way as to make the -increase- (in about all the other bills) seem less that it really is.
The more you know.
