1. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5. He shall receive the blessings from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Psalm 24:1-5
The author clearly states that the earth, and all it contains, fish, animals, minerals, precious stones, and us, belong to Christ who created it.
And the question who can ascend into the hill of the Lord, which is Mount Moriah, where the temple stood, or who can stand in the temple, not just anyone.
The redeemed can, who have submitted to Christ, and received a new heart and a new nature, born of the Spirit, who has not trusted in idols, nor taken an oath falsely to take anything from anyone.
This person has a place in the Gospel church, and the kingdom of God, he shall be covered in Christ's righteousness, and his salvation is sure. Amen.
