1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the lightness from the darkness.5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. Genesis 1:1-5 We begin 2024 at the beginning of the Bible, the first five books are written by Moses, inspired by the Holy Ghost. The word Genesis means the origin or creation of something. Therefore, God says He created everything, not mother nature, who the ungodly give credit, because they refuse to submit to God's laws. But when someone gets hit by lightning, they say it is an act of God, in whom they do believe. The earth here is without form it is nothing. And God begins to move on it. Darkness is all there is, and God says, "Let there be light." And there was light. And God separates the light from the darkness, take note, the darkness was first. Just like us before we find Christ the Light, we are full of darkness. And God has put a separation in us where Christ is in us, no darkness can be. Then God names the light Day, and the darkness Night. Again the first day begins in darkness, we are the same, we were born in darkness, needing so desperately the Light of Christ. Amen.
