16. As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.17. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.18. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.19. God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God. Psalm 55:16-19 ?? The psalmist, calls not upon idols, creatures, or images, in his time of trouble, but upon God, the Creator of all things, in Him is power for deliverance, and salvation, from all our enemies. And we have the same confidence in Him, whose hand is not shortened that He cannot save. For this, we are inclined, to pray at all times, for He hears you, the psalmist assures us, from his own particular experiences. And from the promise, of God Himself. In God only is there deliverance and salvation, no matter how many stand with you, God is undefeated. Sinners, who will not hear, will not change, are bound to destruction, for they reverence not, nor worship, the God of our Salvation, nor the Savior, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
