Andy Sallee (Member 37,600) spotted some Altocumulus clouds wrapped around Mount Adams, Washington, US. This peak in the Cascade Range is a potentially active volcano. Though it has not erupted in more than 1,000 years, it is not classified as extinct. The serene clouds make it look as though the mountain is smiling – hopefully to reassure us it’s not planning to erupt any time soon.
