Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.8. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, of any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,10. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:Revelation 14:6-10 John's vision of an angel having the gospel is a picture of pastors and preachers teaching the pure gospel message to all men. Saying reverence God, give Him the glory due Him, and worship only Him, for whatever you put between self and Almighty God is idolatry. There followed another saying Babylon is fallen, this is a picture of the antichrist of Rome, which has caused all nations to drink the wine of wrath, God throughout His word has called idolatry spiritual adultery. And God will suffer nothing to be worshipped before Himself. The third voice speaks of those who receive the mark of the beast and worship his image. Without the Holy Ghost, you will not have power to resist unto death, for the things of this world will be a pitfall. All power, redemption, pardon, eternal life, belong to God. And you can sing all the Christmas hymns you want, but if you do not know Him, you shall drink the undiluted cup of His indignation. Amen.
