5. Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. 6. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. 7. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God!therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. 8. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink the river of thy pleasures. 9. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.Psalm 36:5-9 The mercy of God, which can not be measured coming down from heaven, Christ came to obtain salvation for sinful men. His faithfulness is like a cloud filled with rain on parched ground bringing life to barren soil. His Righteousness like a great mountain that we are unable to reach, His judgment so deep as the ocean, we can not comprehend. All life is preserved by His power. The lovingkindness of Christ to reach out to sinners doomed to destruction, taking on the penalty in His own body, to all who put their trust in Him. They shall be fed with the Bread of Life, and drink of eternal joy in the presence of God. Christ the fountain of life here, and our spiritual life, and our eternal life, to all who were dead in sin, being redeemed by His sacrifice and righteousness. The Father of lights has given us the Light of the world, the Light of His Word, He has enlightened our darkness and where His Light is no darkness can be. We are light when we are in His Light. Amen.
