8. Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 9. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.10. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.11. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.12. I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.1 John 2: 8-12 This new thing of loving our brothers, for we are all created by the same God. And Christ has given the example giving His life even for those that refused Him. It is a command and leaves no room to continue in hate and murmuring, of others. This is a truth that we are to love as Christ loved us and He gave His life in love. This is especially true for the one's that say they belong to Christ. For we have been given a new heart, new speech, a new nature, being in His Light, and where the Light is no darkness can be. Yet some deceive themselves, hating and abusing those who do not please them. And Christ Himself said what reward have you if you love those that love you back. So those that love those who hate them, have proved that they walk in Christ's Light. All the redeemed have been saved from their sins by the blood of Christ, but Jesus said if we do not forgive those who offend us, we shall not be forgiven our offenses against God. Amen.
