5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.1 John 1:5-8 John, who was with Christ from the very start, who saw and witnessed all Christ did with his own eyes, writes this saying that our joy may be full. And when something is full, you cannot add more. This is the message that brings that kind of joy, that Jesus's blood has removed all sin, and our duty now is to follow in His steps. When we confessed our sins, He forgave our sins, a removed all unrighteousness. To walk with Christ is to submit to His way. Our thoughts our words our deeds must be inline with His. Anything short of this will not be accepted. Christ gave everything so we could live with Him. And He does not ask the impossible from us. He was tempted in ways we shall never know and sinned not. When we keep our heart and mind on Him, we will have victory. Amen.
