Restore soft plastic which has developed sticky or rubbery film, e.g. old mouse, hair dryer handle, pens, etc. Soft plastic surfaces sometimes become sticky as they age. An example can be the handle of hairdryers, old pens, mice etc. Soap has no effect on this sticky film, and often it is the reason stuff is thrown out.Before giving up on these items try to wipe them down with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. This dissolves the petroleum-based film which has developed on the surface.Before and after. 😁
