Thoughts on Today's Verse.... As we examine our blessings and thank God for his wonderful grace, let's ask why God has blessed us so much. Let's also remember the primary spiritual principle God made clear in today's Scripture and his call to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3). God blesses his people so that they will be a blessing to others. Let's make sure we are not merely recipients of God's blessings; let's be conduits of those blessings to others so that they can join us in our praise and thanksgiving for our wonderful and generous Father in heaven.
