18. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling- block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also that hast delivered thy soul.
Ezekiel 3:18-21
These are God's words to Ezekiel. Which Christ will hold us responsible for, if we warn not sinners of what is in store for them.
This death spoken of is eternal, it is the wage sin requires, this is sure, and we are to warn all of the danger sin exposes them to.
We shall not escape judgment, if we fail in our duty to present Christ as Savior, therefore saving a soul from destruction.
We being covered in Christ's righteousness, cannot remain silent, all around us is a world in peril. I lived like this and if not for grace and mercy from Christ, I would have continued to destruction. But Christ put people, and His word, in my way, and now I live for Christ.
And each day I share something from God's word that others would follow.
We are here for such a short time a life spent serving Christ will be rewarded, as for those that refuse Him, destruction waits. Take heed to the warning. Amen. πŸ™
