Waiting on parts (for the most part), so,... some updates on the heat source for 'stand alone lean to', with pic!
The pic shows the placement of the metal roof panel, the 8” wide plastic door heat separation strips, the metal anti-fire pass through for the fire pit, the routing of the suggested heat flow/recovery, (into a collection dome, vented from under the fire box, and tapped into the dome at the bottom/coldest point, and run parallel to the heat chamber), and locations of the 'more flat' floor stone, and the base fill of the remaining scavenged stone.
I will probably use 1 bag each of cement and sand for mortar (thin/mix with dirt(?)), also swept into the crack fill for the floor and watered down after (give the squirrels something to chew on).
The pic shows the entrance being one of the patio door glass panels that will slide on top of the others, on a couple horizontal aluminum 'L' angles. The metal roof panel (also horizontal) will be attached over the patio doors with a air flow space for encouraged circulation into the heat collector for the heat pump.
The floor can also be dug down for better ground heat availability, but I am too lazy and the squirrel blockage become more involved as the depth gets greater. There may be some problems with the structural support (cement blocks filled with ram earth) in removing much material from 1-3 sides of the blocks.
Yes my pics suck. It has been 20 years since I have had a workable draw program after the last -required- hardware MS upgrade, and the new draw programs are no where near the fit I require for (home-builder class), for me to invest in much. It would appear that I have stated all I/we can be effective for in that exposure anyway. They also restructured “Flightsim.com” to remove all the records there of my design/technique (about a dozen A/C and a flying 'brick, surface craft, and a 4 wheel (inside the frame) motorcycle'.
Etc..
