6. O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
7. At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and pull down, and to destroy it;
8. If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
9. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
10. If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.
Jeremiah 18:6-10
The prophet is instructed by God's word to him, as he observed the Potter making a vessel, and it did not turn out, so the Potter, made something else from the same material.
God being sovereign, can do as He sees fit. He, as the Master Potter, can fashion it as He pleases, the clay has no power to resist or hinder.
God can take a wicked man, or nation, and transform them into a vessel of honor. There has never been anyone who could clean themselves up, to be able to present themselves to God, without Christ.
And on the other hand, if a man or a nation, turn their back on Christ, there is but one outcome, destruction.
The United States, was founded on godly principles. But we have turned our back on God and His Word, we have removed Him from where He was needed most, where children learn to do what is right.
We have nullified His commandments and now teach children the abominable deeds that caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
We are traveling to destruction at a very fast pace. It is time for believers to make their voice known. We shall all be held accountable for our silence. Remove from places of power all who put their views and their abominations before God's. Amen.
