1. O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.3. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.4. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.5. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.Psalm 139:1-5 The evidence of the psalmist's relationship with God. He is aware of God's knowledge of every person, their heart, and thoughts, and words, which turn into actions. He knows those who sit down to study His Word with affection, looking for instruction, comfort, correction, and those who rise up and keep His Word, in what comes from their mouth, and in every action. To be acquainted with God, that you are aware of His presence around you, in you occupation, and when you are at rest. His knowing every word before it comes out of your mouth. The comfort of knowing you are never alone, God is before and behind, so close His hand is upon His own. The psalmist says such knowledge is to wonderful for him to comprehend, it is higher than he can reach. Such a relationship with the Lord is worth everything. Amen.
