1. Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.2. Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God. 3. Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.4. For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure. 5. For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.Psalm 135:1-5 Praise the Lord, the servants of the Lord who were once servants of sin. Who now stand and worship in the house of the Lord, in Jerusalem. These are know by the one true God, they know the goodness of the Lord by experience. For, from the beginning, He has looked over them and protected them. Why? Because the Lord has chosen Jacob the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the friend of God. And Israel for His peculiar treasure. This word in Hebrew means to shut up, as valued property, a treasure for the Almighty. In Genesis 12:3, God tells Abraham, I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee. Amen.
