Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:4. Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: 5. Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.6. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.Psalm 124:1-6 As then, so is it now, if God is on our side, like He is on the side of Israel, it matters not who is against us. Though men, or devils, even Satan, come against those protected by the blood of Christ, they shall leave in defeat. God is the same, yesterday, today, and always, Israel is a people under the protection of the Almighty. And any that come against them, will not prosper. Evil may seem to overcome the people of God, like flood waters, but God is in control so as not to let the enemy have victory. Amen.
