3. For this is good and acceptable in the site of God our Saviour;4. Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.5. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;6. Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1 Timothy 2:3-6 Paul instructed Timothy on what is acceptable to God in regards to how men live. Being sober, righteous, and godly, praying always for those in authority. Almighty God has set a plan of salvation by His Son Jesus. Christ has met all the provisions for all to be saved. His death has secured access to heaven, yet not all men will have it, rejecting Christ, and setting themselves up for destruction. Salvation is coming to the knowledge of Christ and what He has done for our redemption. Christ is our mediator between sinful men and the Almighty. He is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin, for He gave Himself willingly, on our behalf, and paid our debt with His blood, and this is testified in the Gospel and it is true. Amen.
