8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10. And with all deceivable ness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrightesousness.2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 Paul telling all believers that Christ's return will not come before a great falling away from the church, the son of perdition revealed who exalts himself above God. Then shall Christ come and by His Spirit will consume the wicked and ungodly, and His brightness will destroy them all. All who refuse Christ will be led astray by lies, and powerful signs by Satan. Because they refused the love of God, in the form of Christ. If you are not filled with God's word, you will never know the truth and you will surely be deceived. Christ is coming for His own, and they shall never be disappointed. Amen.
