10. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;11. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;12. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:13. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:14. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:Colossians 1:10-14 Paul prays for the church at Colosse, and in his prayers, sets goals for all believers. As believers we are to increase our knowledge of God, through His Word. Growing in good works, doing the things that are pleasing to Christ. Strengthen by the Spirit's power, bearing everything with joy, for God's plan is without error. Giving thanks to God Almighty for sending Christ, giving us the gift of eternal life. By rescuing us from the powers of darkness that had overtaken us. And redeemed us, from the penalty of sin, being death, by His blood, and forgave every sin by His grace. Amen.
