///@factsdailyy: Most, if not all, Amish communities in the United States prohibit the use of modern technologies such as automobiles, computers, and cell phones.On October 4, mobile phones got buzzed up with a notification from the Federal Emergency Management Agency a test.According to an ex-Amish guy, several Amish members were "shunned" when the US Emergency Alert went out on phones they had smuggled into the community.The ex-Amish guy said: “Several Amish men got shunned by the Amish Church for having smart phones in their pocket when the emergency alert system went off.”
