12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14. Stand therefore, having your loin girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:Ephesians 6:12-17 Paul's instruction, to put on the armour that God has supplied. For our enemies are not flesh and blood, but spiritual, malicious spirits, who are against Christ's people. Who persuad evil wicked men to do their wicked deeds, and Satan himself is come from his place to destroy men. The armour let's you stand, not giving any ground to the enemy. Have the truth of Christ, covered in His Righteousness. Prepared with the Gospel to take it anywhere. Having the shield of faith in Christ, that will protect against the spears of the wicked. Put on the helmet of salvation, for the battle is for your mind. And the sword of the Spirit, the word of God, which Christ used in the dessert, to overcome Satan. If you do not read or know God's word, you cannot defend yourself against evil, the Word of God, is the only offensive weapon. The others are for defense, they only cover the front, if you turn your back on God, you are vulnerable. Fill yourself with God's word, keep moving forward, your victory, has been secured by Christ.
