17. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:18. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,19. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20. Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Ephesians 1:17-20 Here Paul prays for the believers. That the God of Christ, the man, would bless all seeking wisdom and knowledge of Christ. This comes by reading the word of God. This word renews the mind, putting thoughts, words, and actions, under submission to Christ. Knowing that He came to give you victory over sin, death, and destruction. And He is with us, who believe and His power to change us is mighty, for there is not one saint, that did not start out a sinner. Christ, the first man to rise to eternal life, bids us come, He shall raise His own to eternal life, to the glory of His name. And the Father, has raised His Son, and placed Him above everything that has been made, putting all things under His feet. Amen.
