1. Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;2. But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.3. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:4. But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,5. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.Galatians 4:1-4 Paul explains that we were servants to the law. Yet we were not able to keep it. And because we were weighed down under the burden of sin, God, sent Jesus, born of a woman like us, He lived under the law and kept it to the letter. Then though His death, He paid our debt to sin, redeeming us back to the Father as heirs of the promise of eternal life. There is nothing we can do in this life to earn, or make us worthy of salvation, Christ has done everything, leaving nothing out, it is ours to take or reject. Yet no one who lived for Christ and cast off this world, and sin, has ever had a moment of regret. Amen.
