Selah.Psalm 46:4-7 This river is life, the living water of Christ, water is essential to life, but can be destructive, as in the flood of Noah's day. Christ's Gospel is gladness to the redeemed, but foolishness to the wicked. The city of God, the church where Christ is ever present, shall not be disappointed, being watched over by the Almighty, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. The powers of darkness are set to come, the antichrist, and all the darkness with him, shall not be able to over power those covered in Christ, for He has defeated Satan, sin, and death. The ungodly rage against Christ, governments and rulers, passed laws against His commandments, in vain, Christ formed everything by the word from His mouth, and with a word, He can destroy it. But the God of Jacob, our God, the Lord our Righteousness, is our shelter, and we are under His protection. Amen.
