1. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed, deliver me in thy righteousness.2. Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me: O LORD God of truth.Psalm 31:1-5🙏🏻 The psalmist puts his trust in the Almighty God, and in the salvation of Christ, who is God, and was with God from the beginning. His trust in Christ is sure, and he will never be disappointed. For God to bow down and hear the petition of His people is a wonderful grace. We are sheltered by Christ's salvation. The Lord is our solid foundation and our protection against destruction. Mighty is our Savior, able to pull us out of Satan's net, who has laid in secret, traps, that end in our destruction. Commit every thing to Christ, spirit, soul, and body. For Christ has, redeemed you for His glory, and you can find eternal safety in no other. Amen.
