1. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3. Who forgiveth all thy iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Psalm 103:1-4
The psalmist says, bless the LORD, O my soul, this the better part of him, it came from God, and shall return to Him.
And all that was in him, his heart, his understanding, his affections, his judgement, all the grace that worked in him by faith.
Forget not the benefits of God, who can number them all, but we are aware of Christ's saving grace, His forgiveness of sins, His pardon, and His covering of His Righteousness, if this was all we received, it is more than we deserve.
We have access to healing, because Christ's body was broken for us. With redemption comes security from destruction.
And if you look back, you will remember, the times, that the mercy and lovingkindness of God, kept you safe. Amen.
