For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.Psalm 96:1-5🙏🏻 Only the redeemed can sing the new song. Because of the joy of being forgiven, pardoned, made known by the Gospel. The song is with thanksgiving, to the Lord, because who is able to be saved without Christ. Our salvation is not to be hidden but declared to all, that they may know Christ, and share with others. His glory is to be announced to all, this word glory is defined here as, the honor due Christ, for His obedience, for His sacrifice, His faithfulness, for the Cross, for coming to save us, it can be shared with no other. Great is our Lord, and worthy of all praise and adoration, for who can be compared to Him. To whom can we go for salvation. Just Christ the Lord. All the gods of men are idols, false, and lies, they can do no harm nor good. But the Lord made the universe, and put you in it. Everything you see and hear, of any value, comes from Christ. Amen.
