8. But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.11. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.Romans 10:8-11 Paul speaking of the Gospel message, which holds the special blessings and promises of grace, the unmerited favor of God, and pardon of sin, because Christ took the punishment, and paid it with His life, therefore His followers are declared not guilty. The old testament, speaks clearly of the Savior Christ coming to suffer in the place of His people. Those who truly believe that Christ died for their sins, and was raised from death, shall be saved from the judgment. This is the promise of God who cannot lie. It is yes, and let it be so to all who will come to Christ. And none who come to Him will be ashamed, this word in Greek, means, does not disappoint, Christ will not disappoint you, but shall keep His promises. Amen.
