If there are 2 trillion galaxies like we think there are, and only one planet in each of those entire galaxies has intelligent life that would mean there are 2 trillion other planets with intelligent life. The odds of there being no other intelligent life out there is “astronomical” (think about that word). Even if there is only one planet in every 10 galaxies, that means there are 200 million planets with intelligent life. Think of how big a galaxy is and how many planets there are in each galaxy.
