1. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? 2. How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?3. Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, least I sleep the sleep of death;4. Least mine enemy say, I prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.5. But I trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.6. I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:1-6 ?? God can never forget His people. But when affliction comes, things are not going our way, the shadow of death comes lurking at the door, we feel God has forgotten us, His face no longer smiles upon us. This is so far from the truth, God is with you, to bring you through, to protect, and guide you, in all stages of your life. The psalmist, stops his questions, and remembers, who is the Savior, who can be trusted, with every detail. And because of that, we can sing praises, through every storm. For God's lovingkindness, and tender mercies, His spiritual blessings, are ever towards His children, in abundance. Amen.
