11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14. Who gave himself for us, that we might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:11-14 ??
In times past, the grace of Salvation, was hidden from men.
But in God's time, Christ, came with the Gospel message, and the Salvation of God, was seen, and heard by all men.
The message is simple, it is an invitation, to eternal life, it clearly states, that there is a separation, from the ungodly, and their works, there is a line drawn, which we dare not cross, for we are in danger of losing our reward.
Those who are not looking for our hope, the glorious appearing of the return of Christ. Who gave Himself, to save us from destruction.
Take heed, and amend your ways, for the mature love of Christ, is not in you.
You cannot have a foot in the world, and one in heaven, the heart can have only, one Master.
Christ redeemed us, and purified us with His blood, that we would be, His peculiar people, this word peculiar, is defined as, (one's own) we are a people, separated from the nations of the world, for God, as His possessions, doing His good work, out of love and obedience, to our Lord. Amen.
