From her window seat on a flight back to Biarritz from Lyon, France, Marie Regnault (Member 50,146) glimpsed golden Cirrostratus clouds in the distance framed by the tower of a mature storm cloud, known as a Cumulonimbus capillatus incus, to the left and that of a developing storm, known as a Cumulus congestus, to the right. She told us that the scene, which resembled the painted set of some fantastical theatre production, ‘felt like a warm welcome home.’
