Sally Warner (Cloud Appreciation Society Member 60,780) encountered this many-legged ocean creature swimming across the deep blue over Toodyay, Western Australia. It could be a species new to science. Or it could be a classic example of Cirrus vertebratus, the variety of the high cloud Cirrus that is distinguished by fine strands extending, rib-like, from a central spine.
