34. They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them.35. But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.36. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.37. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,38. And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.39. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Psalm106: 34-39 🙏🏻 That God is seen as just, He spared not His own Son Jesus, nor did He spare His own people. Here is an account of the reason for being separated from God. You can see the same thing going on this very day. They accepted the ungodly, and learned their ways. Before we even begin to seek God, we have already fallen into Satan's ways. They served idols instead of the God of Creation, and the idol became their pathway to destruction. God never asked His people to sacrifice their children, but Satan will destroy anything you have. They can blame no other than themselves, so it is with us, we are responsible for our own sins, and defiled by our rebellion against God. For this reason Christ came, died in our place to remove our reproach, yet there are still very many that sin against God, and His Word, this very day. Amen.
