21. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22. Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23. Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24. Whom God hath raised up, having loose the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Acts 2:21-24πŸ™πŸ»
Peter speaking to those in Jerusalem, after Christ ascended to heaven, and the promise of the Holy Ghost being fulfilled, indwelt them, this word indwelt, is defined as a permanent presence of the Spirit, now living in the believers.
He who denied Christ three times, with boldness speaks on the salvation of Christ. Bringing to mind the murder of Christ by the religious leaders, for nothing, but doing good.
Also much doubt was voiced about Christ's resurrection, but Peter and the rest were eyewitnesses to it, and he shares the the glorious Lord, who came from heaven, becoming one of us, could not be held by death. Amen.
