1. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my
tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Psalm 45:1-4πŸ™πŸ»
The psalmist inspired by the Holy Ghost, pens this song, about Christ.
Speaking of the excellency of Christ, His Kingdom, His love for the church. Christ the King of the whole world.
Fairer than the children of men, Christ adorned with glory and majesty, elevated above all creations.
The grace of the Gospel poured from His lips, blessed by God for ever, in His human form, with all gifts, and graces, of the Holy Ghost. As the only Mediator between fallen man, and God. With all spiritual blessings.
Christ as God, able to wield the Sword of the Spirit, having two edges, one sharp to convict sin, the other to defend the Gospel.
Christ prospered not in monetary revenue, but succeeded in victory over Satan, sin, and death. And failed not in any measure, to bring salvation to all who believe, and walk in His ways. Amen.
