BARBARA RUMPEL of Melbourne, Florida was the owner of N611VG; the Cessna that crashed in Virginia— it was just registered by her company in April 2023.Barbara is alive. However, it’s confirmed that her daughter, granddaughter, nanny and pilot all died in the crash.The mother-daughter victims are Adina Azarian, known as the “Queen of Real Estate” in the Hamptons, and her daughter Aria.Barbara’s husband, John, lost his own daughter, Victoria, in a 1994 scuba diving accident.Reportedly, the plane took off from Tennessee, flew over DC, to New York, did not land, turned around, was unresponsive, flew back over DC, and was intercepted by US MIL, and it crashed or was shot down in the Appalachian Mountains near Staunton, VA.
