46. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.47. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.48. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.49. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.50. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speakref. John 12:46-50 All who refuse Christ abide in darkness. Christ came into the world, as the Light, and where light is no darkness can be. Christ brings light, to illuminate, the darkness of sin. Those who follow Christ, no longer live in the darkness of sin, ignorance, and unbelief, but walk in the light of truth, faith, holiness. The Gospel of Christ, may be preached, but not understood, having no faith in Christ. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, but not all believe. Christ came as a Saviour to a fallen world. And all who refuse Him, at the last will have Him as a Judge. Christ came not speaking of Himself, but of His Father who sent Him. Christ paid our debt to sin, which we could not pay, and to those who repent, and turn to Him, will find life after death for eternity. This is given to Christ, from His Father. And in everything Christ, pleased the Father. Amen.
