25.Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30. I and my Father are one.
John 10:25-30
Again these are the words of Jesus. He often told them that God was His Father, that He was the Light of the world, that He was the Good Shepherd. But very few believed.
Christ knew from the very beginning who would hear the Gospel, and turn to Him. He knows them by name.
Christ has given them a spiritual life, which when the time on earth is finished, will turn to life without end. And they shall never perish, Christ's promises are true.
No one has power to remove them from God.
Christ is the Shepherd and Anchor of their souls, there is no other.
For this statement, I and the Father are one, they sought to stone Him. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, are separate, but they are united in, perfection, holiness, power, their nature, knowledge, the three being God, but separate individuals, in perfect unity, with no conflict. Amen.
