11. It is a faithful saying, For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13. If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14. Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers
15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:11-15??
This is a dependable word, affirming truth, and to be believed.
That if we are united, with Christ, we share in His death, and resurrection.
And because He lives, we shall live with Him, for all eternity.
Nothing can separate us, from the love of Christ, not even death, thus we shall reign with Him, in the place, He has prepared.
To deny Christ, is to deny He is God, that He came in human form, that He died for sin, and was raised from the grave, and sits at the righthand of the Father, making intercession for us.
For those who will not believe, they shall bow before Him, as a judge, when they could have had Him, as Savior.
Christ is true, perfect, and ever faithful, as God.
There is no profit in disputing the Gospel message, for it is sure, as Christ, Himself.
We need not study the word of God, to please men, but to be approved by God, who has given such a gift, as the saving of our soul. Let us study His word, (for the heart is desperately wicked, who can know it,) that our heart may be filled with Christ, and His saving grace. Amen.
