15. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. 16. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.17. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.18. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.19. Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!Psalm 71:15-19 The psalmist, speaks, in God's faithfulness to all His promises. Especially the redemption of the lost by Christ. Covering the redeemed in His Righteousness, where they is no fault. God's salvation goes out to all, the numbers being hidden, the numerous blessings that cannot be counted of all who have received Christ. We cannot serve God in our strength, for it fails, but Christ, is our stronghold, our strong tower, our habitation, where we are safe. Sin has made us weak, but Christ is strong, victorious over Satan, sin and death, His strength is sufficient to save us. Christ's righteousness is all we need, for we have none of our own. We have from our youth till now, seen and learned the corruption of human nature, in our heart we know our faults. Christ's saving grace is something we cannot do for ourselves. Therefore we must seek Him, repenting, and submitting to His mercy and grace. Then like me grayheaded and old, I have peace with God, through Christ. My Lord, King, Savior, who is like unto thee, no one. Amen.
