22. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.23. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him much worship him in spirit and in truth.25. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.26. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. John 4:22-26 The Samaritans were a mixed multitude placed by the King of Assyria. Idol worshippers, not knowing the true God. Christ truly knows the real God, as a man, He obeyed every command, and trusted His Father, with no doubt. He being Creator of all, knew the Father as the Almighty, and the Jews as the people of God. To worship God, in spirit and truth, in spirit, with all of the soul, the eternal part of our being, in truth, to put all carnal desires of the flesh in submission to Christ, the heart fully engaged in pleasing God, by repentance, and sincerity, and integrity, in serving Christ as Lord. The Almighty has given all who follow Christ, an inheritance, with Him. And you see the mercy of God displayed, grace in full measure, as He tells the women, who speaks of Christ, "I that speak unto thee am He." So He shall say to all who come to Him, in singleness of heart, seeking, pardon, and salvation. Amen.
