Laurie Goldstein (Cloud Appreciation Society Member 54,832) spotted a ‘feast of clouds’ over Sacramento River Valley, California, US. This sharing-platter sky included three forms of the high cloud Cirrus: thickened curds known as Cirrus spissatus to the middle left, foamed whisks with cloud trails known as Cirrus floccus to the right, and a serving of angel hair pasta known as Cirrus fibratus up in the top-right corner. Meanwhile, off on the horizon, rolls of the mid-level cloud Altocumulus were being prepared for dessert
