#Repost///@feeonline: John Locke believed that, if a government has too much power, it is more likely to act in its own self-interest rather than for the good of the people.Under absolutism, people have no way to appeal or defend their rights, making their situation worse than if there were no government and they had to defend their rights on their own.Locke argued that it is much better to be in a state of nature than to submit to the unjust will of another.
