1. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
4. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
Psalm 125:1-5 ??
The church of God is compared to Mount Zion, and those who put their trust completely in Christ, shall never be moved off that foundation.
The Lord is a fortress to His people, a shield, a guard, a guide. He keeps them by His providence.
The rod of correction, is sometimes used at the hand of the Lord.
The righteous, being not perfect, but sinners, the Lord will not allow, them who are chosen, to leave Christ, to forsake His ways, and live a life, without Him.
This prayer is for us, Lord, do good to them that do good, that be good, whose hearts are filled, and committed to Christ.
And you will see the destruction of the workers of iniquity, when all the enemies of Christ, and His Church are destroyed. Amen.
